|BEIJING, July 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — FRIDAY’S SHIMAO restaurant at Worker’s Stadium Road brings dining to a new level by introducing both our latest designs from the U.S. and brand new menu items, giving consumers the opportunity to experience American cuisine and drink in a restaurant bar with a distinctive urban feel. In the future, FRIDAY’S will further entrench itself in the China market, with plans to apply the new design concept to other locations while continuing to import the latest innovations in American cuisine.
All-new design reinforces cheerful American atmosphere
Following the store at Tennessee’s Opry Mills, T.G.I. FRIDAY’S SHIMAO flagship restaurant is the world’s pioneer to employ the all-new international concept restaurant design featuring an open kitchen, four-sided open bar, and open-air dining area. Open kitchens are the new trend in American restaurants; customers can see the entire process behind creating the classic taste of a FRIDAY’S meal, including the hand-made flatbread cooked to perfection in an imported Beech Oven. This design also helps optimize the use of space and provides an extra level of food safety.
FRIDAY’S SHIMAO new restaurant’s “torpedo-style bar” is at the forefront of modern restaurant design and plays a central role in increasing employee-customer interaction. With four open sides, all with bar seating, its openness allows for greater visual stimulation and even includes 10 LCD TVs to give customers in any corner a good view of the sports action. The restaurant’s walls are also decorated with different themes, including FRIDAY’S history, American sports, rock and roll, contemporary culture and American heroes, giving customers the feeling that they’re actually in America, enjoying an American cuisine experience without the jet lag.
