As a leading sponsor and official restaurant of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™, McDonald’s restaurants throughout Brazil will be joining fans in showing their pride and devotion to the national sport well before the first whistle blows in Brazil. The tournament takes place from June 12 until July 13.
Customers who purchase an Extra Value Meal (sandwich, side and drink) with a McFlurry will receive one “Champion Glass” commemorating a past Brazilian World Cup victory. Six glasses have been created – five inspired by past World Cup championships won by Brazil and one specially designed for the 2014 World Cup Brazil™. Customers will have a choice of: Gray – 1958 World Cup; Red – 1962 World Cup; Lilac – 1970 World Cup; Light Green – 1994 World Cup; Blue – 2002 World Cup; and Dark Green for the 2014 World Cup Brazil™. The promotion lasts until March 5.
