For this world-renowned culinary celebration, Centerplate has again been chosen to provide food, service staff and logistical support for many of SOBE Wine & Food’s premier venues. The event will feature celebrity chef demonstrations by star-studded array of culinary giants like Giada De Laurentiis, Guy Fieri, Anne Burrell and Scott Conant.
The 12th annual South Beach Wine & Food Festival, which last year hosted over 50,000 guests, is a distinguished, open-air event showcasing the talents of the world’s most recognized chefs and personalities. Partnering with Florida International University and Southern Wine and Spirits, Centerplate will donate its kitchen and facility resources at the Miami Beach Convention Center to celebrity chefs and Florida International University students in preparation for the festival’s Moet Hennessy’s The “Q”, the Amstel Light Burger Bash, Garden to Glass Party and the closing event with Guy Fieri‘s Reggae Jam.
Showcasing the company’s award-winning culinary talent, Centerplate’s Regional Executive chef, Jonathan Barnett has also been invited to participate in the Moet Hennessy’s “Q” event as a guest chef. Chef Barnett is featuring a Charred Omaha Beef Strip Steak with a 6-spice rub on tasty mushroom grits with Hennessy-n-onion marmalade and orange slaw.
